Well she has once again taken care of me! Lindsey, thank you so much for changing my blog background. As you know me, I love it! I decided to not wait so long this time to thank you.
I don't remember which twin it was that said that they were going to get their mom (Shauna) more involved in doing her blog spot but take a hint from Lindsey, since she has done this I have written twice on my blog spot.
As to Annie who wanted to know how to change your backgrounds just ask Lindsey if she'll do it for you. It's kind of like having a housekeeper for you blog spot. But no I was just kidding about her changing other people's backgrounds.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
Once again daughter, thank you for everything that you do for your father and I.
P. S. We have almost completed our home and hopefully I should be able to write more on my blog spot.

It's a subfloor!

And the subfloor does appear. As of Thursday night 4-17-08 we do have a subfloor and next will be the walls. It's exciting to go up to the house each night to see what they have done with the framing.

Yes, this was a buzy day for the workers and according to the main man "for what they did they probably should of had at least two more men there helping them." But the flatwork that they needed to have done on the house for the framers to come is done.

Footings are done

Yes, I'm not as good as Lindsey is with keeping up on her blog. So what you're going to see is that nothing will be done for quite awhile and then all of the sudden there will be alot of new pictures that will appear on the blog. However this time we did have a little help with our procrastination. Yes, winter hit and it hit hard and so we didn't do anything for quite awhile. But this picture shows our footings in the basement. This was actually done back in November.

The hole is dug.

Yes, the hole has finally been dug. Now the games will begin, plus the headaches. The top picture is looking at it facing the north. The bottom picture is looking at it facing the east. As you can see in the bottom picture there is a lot of construction going on in this area. Nine new homes are being built with four more building lots in our subdivision.
